Help protect your loved ones from financial uncertainty with a term life insurance policy—the most affordable type of life insurance on the market.

Term life benefits can be used to help cover housing expenses, a child's education, outstanding debt, and daily living costs such as groceries and bills in the event of death. You choose the length of the term and coverage amount based on your needs and your budget.

What is term life insurance?

Term life insurance:

  • Lasts for a fixed period of time, or term, ranging from 10 to 30 years
  • Typically costs less than whole life insurance or universal life insurance
  • Has a fixed premium for the initial term period
  • Can be extended by renewing at a higher premium, up to a certain age.

AAA Life offers term life insurance with low premiums and a death benefit up to $5 million.

Who should buy term life insurance?

If someone depends on you, you're a candidate for life insurance. A term life policy may appeal to you if:

  • You want a higher death benefit (payout) for a lower premium (price)
  • You're on a tight household budget but still want to protect your loved ones
  • You need coverage for a specific time period, such as when your kids are in school
  • You plan to convert from a temporary to a permanent policy when you can afford to do so.

What type of term life insurance is available through AAA?

Term Life Insurance through AAA is available with 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 years of coverage and a return-of-premium rider. This means that, if you don’t die during the term of the policy, AAA will refund all the money you paid in premiums at the end of the term period.

If you're looking for higher policy coverages or would like a complimentary consultation, chat with a licensed life insurance professional.

How are term life insurance benefits paid?

Most people choose a lump sum payment where the beneficiary receives a single payment after the insured has passed away and a claim is filed.
