Polar bear and Tundra BuggyEach fall, scores of polar bears gather before the winter freeze near Churchill, along the shores of Hudson Bay, to begin their annual hunt for seals. Although a shrinking habitat means challenges for the polar bear population, you can still see these Lords of the Arctic in the wild from the secure comfort of your Tundra Buggy. With no more than 22 guests, everyone has a great view and plenty of room to store gear. Spot mothers nurturing cubs and young males in mock battle. Get amazing photographs of the bears walking below your feet as you watch them safely through the buggy’s steel mesh floor.

Expert guides from Polar Bear International will accompany you on this exclusive departure. Polar Bears International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the worldwide conservation of the polar bear and its habitat through research, stewardship and education. Their ambassadors will be on hand to offer in-field insights about polar bears, their habitat and the growing environmental challenges that they face. Informative evening presentations help deepen your understanding of this magnificent animal.
