Day 1 - Welcome to the Eternal City
Check in to your selected hotel set in the historical center of Rome and convenient to all the best sights.

Day 2 - Explore Rome with your Personal Guide
Set out with your personal guide for a private car tour of the city. Gaze upon the impressive Colosseum and feel the shadow of Hadrian in the Pantheon, one of the city’s best preserved monuments. Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain and people watch as you relax on the Spanish Steps. The legendary monuments of Rome come to life with your knowledgeable and friendly guide. Day 3 - Through the Tuscan Countryside
Your private car and driver will escort you to the station for your first class rail journey through the Tuscan countryside to Florence. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and driven to your choice of hotel in the historic heart of the city.

Day 4 - Discover the City of Michelangelo
This morning’s privately guided city tour explores the Renaissance glory of Florence. Created by the Medici in the 16th century and later bequeathed to the city, the Uffizi Gallery houses the world’s best collection of Italian Renaissance art. Study and critique these masterworks at your own pace in the intimate company of your expert private guide. Then visit the Duomo to stand beneath Brunelleschi’s dome, a work of artistic and engineering genius. The 15th century plans for this cupola were so ambitious for the day that Brunelleschi was required to develop entirely new construction techniques, which he executed with equipment of his own design. The rest of your day is free to enjoy at your own pace.

Day 5 - To Venice on the Shores of the Adriatic
Your private car brings you to the station for your first class Eurostar Italia train to Venice. Upon arrival, you’ll be met, assisted with your luggage and escorted by vaporetto along the canals of the city to the hotel of your choice.

Day 6 - Venice through the Ages
Set out this morning with your private guide to explore this magical city. Your day begins in the Piazza San Marco, or St. Mark’s Square. This impressive open plaza is bordered by a series of handsome arcades which lead to shops, restaurants and cafés. Dominating the square are the ornate cupolas and marble embellishments of St. Mark’s Basilica, a Byzantine and Romanesque gem that began as the Doge’s private chapel and is now the cathedral of Venice. You also visit the imposing Ducal Palace, a Gothic-Renaissance fantasy of white and pink marble. Continue on to the Bridge of Sighs and then step aboard your own gondola for a private cruise along Venice’s enchanting canals. The balance of your afternoon and the evening are at leisure.

Day 7 - Depart Venice
Your tour ends after breakfast and hotel check out this morning.
