The next morning, see this magnificent monument at sunrise as the morning light turns the white marble of this magnificent memorial a rosy hue.
On a specially arranged tour of Bangla Sahib, the most prominent Sikh temple in Delhi, mingle with hundreds of daily visitors from various religions, castes and nations. Day 3 - Discover Delhi, Old & New
Begin extensive sightseeing this morning as you drive along the elegant Rajpath past some of the city’s grandest monuments including the India Gate and Presidential Palace. Visit Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, and marvel at the imposing façade of the monumental Red Fort. Then step aboard a traditional pedicab to explore the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, savoring the exotic sights and intriguing smells of Asia’s largest spice market.
Engaging Experience: After a break to enjoy lunch on your own, enjoy a fascinating look at the nation’s rich ethnic diversity on a specially arranged tour through Bangla Sahib, Delhi’s largest Sikh Temple. Finish your sightseeing with two of the city’s most impressive architectural landmarks and both UNESCO World Heritage sites: Emperor Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar with its graceful 12th-century minaret. Engaging Experience: Tonight, dine in Hauz Khas Village, a fascinating urban enclave filled with medieval buildings.
Day 4 - Travel to Agra / Taj Mahal at Sunset
Embark this morning on an overland journey through the colorful countryside. Upon arrival in Agra, enjoy lunch at Pinch of Spice, hailed for its presentation of authentic Indian cuisine. Then, check in to your hotel and refresh before this evening’s guided visit to the Taj Mahal, which reveals this magnificent icon bathed in the golden glow of dusk. Stand in awe as the setting sun seems to magically shift the hues of its glowing, pearly white façade of this magnificent monument, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the mid-1600s as a memorial to his beloved wife, a work force nearly 22,000 strong spent more than 20 years on its construction.

Day 5 - The Taj Mahal at Sunrise
Engaging Experience: Early risers will have an opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal again, an unforgettable spectacle as the sun casts its first golden light upon the iridescent marble of this monument to everlasting love. Return to your hotel for breakfast and then tour the impressive Agra Fort, built in 1565 by the great Emperor Akbar. This palatial fort stretches for more than a mile along the banks of the tranquil Yamuna River and is a stellar example of Indo-Persian style.
Day 6 - Jaipur
Depart Agra this morning and explore the magnificent "ghost town" of Fatehpur Sikri, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Built and mysteriously abandoned in the 16h century, its pristine condition makes it easy to imagine the opulence of Mughal court life long ago.
Continue traveling through the colorful Rajasthani countryside to Jaipur, India’s fabled "Pink City." Check in to your deluxe hotel and enjoy some time to refresh and relax. Engaging Experience: Sit down to tea with a resident family in their home and learn more about India’s enduring cultural traditional and vibrant modern ways.

Day 7 - Discover Jaipur
Engaging Experience: Ascend to the Amber Fort atop an elephant just as royalty would have done centuries ago to tour the opulent pavilions, lovely gardens and courtyards, lavish royal halls and the mesmerizing Chamber of Mirrors.
After an unforgettable luncheon at Samode Haveli, housed in a fabulous 200-year-old manor house, continue sightseeing at the oft-photographed Palace of Winds, beloved for its magnificent latticed façade. You’ll also visit the City Palace Museum to admire its fabulous displays of miniature paintings, ancient weapons and traditional Rajasthani royal costumes. Then tour Jantar Mantar, an unusual observatory built in 1726. Here you will see architectural stone instruments that were ingeniously designed and meticulously constructed to accurately measure time, predict eclipses and track the movements of the stars and planets.
Later, take time to explore the colorful lanes and markets of Old Jaipur. Mingle with city residents from all walks of life including the skilled artisans who make this city so famous for its exquisite jewelry, textiles and stone work.
Day 8 - Free Day in Jaipur
The entire day is free to enjoy at your own pace here in India’s fabled Pink City.
Day 9 - Depart Delhi
You’ll be escorted to the airport for your included flight to Delhi. Enjoy dinner at K3 in the five-star JW Marriott Hotel before transferring to the airport for your homeward flight.
