Important Changes for Certain AAA Auto Insurance Policyholders

Please read the content below if your AAA Auto Insurance policy number:

• Is based in Northern California

• Starts with “PAAand is due for renewal from April 2012 or later

— OR —

• Is based in Northern California

• Is 7 characters long and is due for renewal from July 2012 or later. (Examples of such policy numbers include: WT47497, X419269, 6X41834, etc.)


To better serve you, we’re updating the systems that help us manage your insurance policy records and data. As we transition to the new system, and your policy approaches renewal, please be aware of the following:

• You will receive a new policy number.

Your coverage will not change. Only the policy number is changing.

• About 30 days before your policy renewal date you’ll receive a packet in the mail containing your new policy number, important dates to remember and instructions on what you need to do to ensure your coverage doesn’t lapse.

Policyholders who use online home banking to pay their bills or are enrolled in the AAA Automatic Payment Plan and receive a special notification in the mail or in their renewal pack, need to read the sections below.



For Policyholders Using Online Home Banking to Pay AAA Insurance Bills

Once you receive your new insurance policy number from AAA, you’ll need to visit your financial institution’s website to update your AAA billing information. To ensure your payments get processed, you’ll need to provide:

1. Your new policy number that you’ll receive 30 days before your renewal date.

2. The new AAA payment address: PO Box 60277, Los Angeles, CA 90060-0277.

 

For Policyholders Enrolled in the Automatic Payment Plan Who Receive a Special Notification from AAA

If you used the AAA website to enroll in our automatic payment plan anytime since June 2010, your automatic payment plan will not rollover to your new policy number—you must reenroll. We’re currently unable to process reenrollments online, please call 800-922-8228 now to reenroll and have your new policy number ready.
