Where can I update or change my credit card information?

A: The method you used to initially set up your insurance policy automatic payment or Membership automatic renewal determines how you can update your payment information.

Online
If you previously signed up online for either automatic renewal of your AAA Membership or automatic payments for your AAA Insurance policy you can only update your payment information online.

To update or change your payment information (credit card, debit card or bank account number) online, simply log in to your account and follow these steps:

  1. Select the existing credit/debit card or bank account under “Select a payment method”.
  2. Click in the “Card Number” box.
  3. Delete the existing number in that box and enter the new credit/debit card or bank account number.
  4. If updating a credit card, click in the “Expiration Date” box.
  5. Delete the existing expiration date in that box and enter the new expiration date.
  6. Click the “Continue” button to save your changes.


By Phone
If you previously signed up over the phone for automatic renewal of your AAA Membership or automatic payments for your AAA Insurance policy, you can only update your credit card information by phone.

To update or change your payment information (credit card, debit card or bank account number) by phone, please call AAA Members Service Center at 800-922-8228 or your local branch.

Through Your Bank (AAA Insurance Automatic Payment Only)
If you use online bill pay or home banking through your financial institution to automatically make payments on your AAA Insurance policy, please contact your financial institution to update your payment information.
