One of the most accurate ways to determine the value of your household goods and personal belongings is to create an inventory list and estimate what the items on it are worth. Your AAA Insurance representative can provide you with a Personal Property Inventory form to help guide you through the process. It's also a good idea to photograph or videotape each room, then keep a copy of the photos or videotape with the inventory list in a safe deposit box or other secure place outside your home. If you ever need to submit a claim, you won't have to rely on your memory to list what you had and how much it was worth.
