AAA wholeheartedly supports the goals of the Clean Air Act. In fact, AAA policy is very specific about the need to improve air quality. We support reasonable, fair and effective means of preserving our environment, including those designed to reduce motor vehicle-caused air pollution. We maintain that air pollution emanates from a variety of sources, such as power plants and industrial facilities, automobiles, heavy trucks and others. Further, we believe that making additional gains in improving air quality will require significant contributions from all sources that contribute to the problem.
