When calling 800-AAA-HELP (800-222-4357) from your mobile phone, your general location may be obtained to route your call to the nearest AAA Roadside Assistance Center.

Requesting AAA Emergency Road Service

When requesting AAA Emergency Road Service, please provide the following:

  • Your AAA Membership card number and expiration date.
  • The exact location, make, model, year, color, and license number of the vehicle.
  • Information on the nature of the trouble.
  • When service arrives, be prepared to show the service provider a picture ID and your AAA Membership Card or a dues receipt.

Reimbursement for Locksmith, Towing and More

If AAA service is not available at the time you request service, we will reimburse you for covered services at the prevailing commercial rate for the region or what you paid. Make sure to review complete reimbursement eligibility details for Classic, Plus, or Premier Membership before submitting your request.

*Membership Renewal Policy
We send Members a renewal notice before the Membership expires. Upon expiration, we provide a 71-day grace period within which Members can renew while maintaining the Membership inception year and renewal date. If a Member renews during this grace period, unless the Member notifies us that the Member is electing to cancel their prior Membership, we will automatically renew the Membership effective as of the renewal date of the prior Membership and no enrollment fee will apply. During this grace period, we continue to provide Membership services including roadside assistance. If the Membership is not renewed by the end of the grace period, we bill the Member for any roadside assistance calls made during the grace period.

If a Member chooses to cancel their prior Membership during this grace period and later decides to establish a new membership, we will start a new Membership with a new inception year and renewal date, and the standard enrollment fee for a new Member will apply.
