Getting in an accident—even a small fender bender—is never fun, especially when you’re about to get married. But as Jennifer and Joe Hernandez discovered just a few days before their big day, AAA Auto Insurance is in the business of helping people get on with their lives as quickly and stress-free as possible.

“A few weeks before our wedding, my fiancé, Joe, was on his way to the gym, when out of nowhere, a car pulled a U-turn and slammed right into him. When he called me right after the accident and told me what had happened, I was so nervous I immediately blurted out, ‘Was it your fault?’ I felt horrible and, of course it wasn’t. Most importantly, everyone was okay, but our car was pretty banged up.

“So naturally we prepared ourselves for all the hassles of dealing with insurance companies. And given that we were neck-deep in last-minute wedding preparations, we weren’t too thrilled about the timing, either.

“But right from the beginning, we were surprised at how well AAA treated us. They were on top of everything. They sent someone out right away to look at the car and got us a rental almost immediately. And then they helped us find a good auto body shop in our neighborhood. The truth is, we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

“And every time we spoke with someone on the phone, they were super-friendly and nice. We felt taken care of at a time when we really needed someone to take care of us. They were wonderful.

“And here’s the thing: They weren’t even our insurance. They were the other driver’s insurance company. And we thought, wow, if this is how they treat us and they’re not our provider, well, we need to switch to AAA. They really know how to take care of people.

“So when our insurance policy expired a couple months later, we switched. We were prepared to pay more, and then we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to. We felt like we were getting a great deal. Now all our cars are covered by AAA, and actually, so is our home. This year, AAA, Joe, and I will celebrate our third anniversary together.”
